Cap off the 2013 NAPABA Convention by volunteering on Sunday morning to help pack medical supplies for the World Outreach Foundation-Kansas City to help those affected by the recent Earthquake in Bohol, Philippines and with the medical missions that will be travelling to the Philippines in December 2013 and Battambang, Cambodia in January 2014.
World Outreach Foundation Kansas City is a 501(c)(3) non-profit dedicated to providing medical care for those lacking access to healthcare services that many of us take for granted. Since 2004 WOFKC has planned and organized medical missions to the Philippines in particular, but also to Nepal, Mali, Dominican Republic and in 2014, our first mission to Cambodia. Our missions are dedicated to helping patients with their immediate medical needs, but also to providing them with care that positively impacts their medical situation on a long term basis through education, nutritional and surgical assistance.
